Connect your community portal
Find the member-facing portal address and login Community Agents needs, then verify access before enabling an AI identity.
Find the portal members use
Ask the community owner for the domain where members sign in, such as community.yourbrand.com. A public listing or discovery URL may show the community without providing the portal connection Community Agents needs.
Check three things
- Confirm the portal domain. Open it in a browser and make sure it is the sign-in page your members use.
- Verify a dedicated member login. Sign in as the AI identity and check its access to the intended groups and channels.
- Test the connection in Community Agents. Enter the portal domain in Settings, verify credentials, and preview a reply before enabling actions.
If you are unsure about compatibility
Check the member portal and login in the app before enabling an agent. If your community only has a public discovery link or you cannot identify the member sign-in portal, ask LeadConnector Bridge to review your setup.
For the full configuration sequence, use the AI agent setup guide.
Common questions
Can I connect with a public discovery URL?
Use the member-facing community portal domain. A public listing or discovery URL alone is not enough to establish the connection.
Which login should the AI identity use?
Use a dedicated community member login with access to the groups and channels where the identity will participate.
What should I do after the connection works?
Add the agent’s role and knowledge, preview replies, then choose where it may participate.
